The following regulations are formulated to standardize the management of the LNU Chongshan Campus Sports Hall, ensure its orderly operation, protect public facilities, and safeguard the safety and legitimate rights of all users. All users are required to strictly comply with these regulations.
1. Access During Scheduled Activities
The Sports Hall of LNU’s Chongshan Campus is primarily designated for university physical education instruction, training, and competitions. It is open to the university community (including faculty, staff, and students) during non-academic hours.
During scheduled physical education classes, training sessions, or official competitions, only authorized participants are eligible to enter the Sports Hall. Any activities that interfere with these scheduled events are strictly prohibited. For faculty and staff utilizing the Sports Hall during midday breaks, it is requested that they vacate the premises at least ten minutes prior to the commencement of any scheduled physical education class.
2. Reservation Requirements During Open Hours
During the open period, all users must make a reservation in advance via the official WeChat account of the LNU Sports Venue Operation and Management Center. Entry is permitted solely upon successful reservation, and reservations are non-transferable. Furthermore, users must strictly adhere to their reserved time slot and arrive punctually at the Sports Hall.
3. Footwear Regulations
To protect the surfaces of the Sports Hall and ensure safety, all users must bring a separate pair of clean, non-marking, soft-soled sports shoes and change into them at the entrance of the premises. Street shoes, high heels, cleats, or any other footwear that may cause damage to the floors are strictly prohibited from being worn inside the Sports Hall.
4. Prohibited Items and Behaviors
Dangerous items, including but not limited to flammable, explosive, and corrosive substances, are strictly prohibited from being brought into the Sports Hall. Pets, food, and colored drinks are also not permitted within the premises. Additionally, smoking, spitting, making excessive noise, and engaging in altercations are forbidden inside the Sports Hall.
5. Personal Property Management
Users are obligated to take proper care of their personal valuables.LNU shall not be held liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings within the Sports Hall.
6. Equipment and Facility Protection
All users must handle the equipment and facilities of the Sports Hall with due care. Complex equipment shall only be operated under the supervision of trained staff members of the Sports Hall. The removal of equipment from the Sports Hall premises or its use for unintended purposes is strictly prohibited. Borrowing equipment requires prior application and approval from the Venue Management Center, and all borrowed items must be returned promptly after use within the Sports Hall. Any damage or loss resulting from improper use shall incur repair or replacement costs, which shall be borne by the responsible user.
7. Restrictions on Unauthorized Activities
The Sports Hall shall not be utilized for commercial activities, private coaching sessions, or unauthorized group events without the prior written approval ofSports Venue Operation and Management Center.
8. Prohibition on Unauthorized Posting
The posting of advertisements, banners, or any other materials within the Sports Hall is prohibited unless authorized in writing byLNU.
9. Application for Institutional Use
Other LNU departments or units requiring the use of the Sports Hall for academic, training, competitive, or event-related purposes must submit a written request to the office of the Venue Management Center at least one week in advance. The scheduling of the Sports Hall shall be centrally coordinated by the office.
10. Facility Maintenance and Safety Checks
Regular maintenance and safety inspections of all facilities and equipment within the Sports Hall are conducted to ensure they remain in good working condition. In the event that any equipment of the Sports Hall is damaged, the staff shall carry out repairs or replacements in a timely manner.
