LNU Badminton Court Regulations

The following regulations are formulated to standardize the management of the LNU Badminton Courts, ensure their orderly operation, protect public facilities, and safeguard the safety and legitimate rights of all users. All users are required to strictly comply with these regulations.

1. Scope of Use and Reservation Rules

The Badminton Courts at LNU are primarily designated for university instruction, team training, and official competitions. Outside of these scheduled times, the courts are open to the public.

Reservation and Access Requirements: For open recreation hours, advance booking is required. Please call 62602813 to reserve the court. Your reservation will be automatically cancelled if you are more than 15 minutes late for the reserved time slot.

2. Protection of Public Facilities

Please take good care of all facilities in the Badminton Courts and comply with the arrangements of the staff. Nets must not be disassembled or adjusted without authorization. Any damage to university property caused by improper use shall result in repair or replacement costs, which shall be borne by the responsible user.

3. Footwear Regulations

To protect the playing surface of the courts and ensure safety, all users must bring and change into a separate pair of clean, non-marking, soft-soled sports shoes at the entrance. Street shoes, dress shoes, high heels, cleats, or any other outdoor footwear are strictly prohibited. Please clean the soles of your shoes before entering to help maintain the cleanliness of the courts.

4. Safety and Property Management

LNU shall not be held liable for any loss or theft of personal belongings; please keep your valuables properly secured. For the safety of all users, flammable, explosive, corrosive materials, as well as all food and colored or sugary drinks, are strictly prohibited in the court area. Please handle all public facilities with due care; any intentional damage shall be addressed in accordance with LNU’s relevant policies. During inclement weather, please place umbrellas and wet gear in the designated area for safekeeping by the staff.

5. Maintenance of Public Environment

To ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all users, smoking and spitting are strictly forbidden in the Badminton Courts area. Scribbling or carving on floors, tables, or walls is also prohibited. Users shall be considerate of others, and avoid making excessive noise, engaging in unruly conduct, or roughhousing.

6. Compliance with Time and Equipment Management

Please be punctual for your reserved time slot and leave the courts promptly when your session ends. Any borrowed equipment must be returned immediately after use. It is prohibited to remove any university property from the Badminton Courts or use it for unintended purposes.

7. Application for Institutional and External Use

LNU departments that need to use the Badminton Courts for academic, training, or competitive purposes must submit a written request to the Venue Management Center office at least one week in advance for scheduling. External groups or individuals wishing to rent the facility must also submit an application one week in advance, subject to availability and approval, with rental fees payable upon confirmation.

8. Final Provisions

TheSports Venue Operation and Management Center reserves the right to interpret these regulations and address any matters not explicitly specified herein.
