Professor MA Shuang (Diana) from the Asia-Australia Business College Honored with the 2025 "Navigator for Holistic Development" Award under the "Sino-Foreign High-Level University Student Exchange Program"

On December 6, 2025, the fifth annual conference of the “Sino-Foreign High-Level University Student Exchange Program” (SEP), organized by the Center for Cultural Exchange and Cooperation under China’s Ministry of Education, washosted inShanghai. The event gathered education administrators, experts, scholars, and outstanding faculty and student representatives from leading universities across China and around the world to exchange insights and explore innovative pathways for international student exchange and cooperation. Among the attendees was Professor MA Shuang (Diana), Party Committee Secretary of the Asia-Australia Business College at Liaoning University, who was invited to address the conference as one of the five national recipients of the 2025 “Navigator for Holistic Development” award.

The “Navigator for Holistic Development” award is a distinguished accolade established under the SEP to recognize individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication on the frontlines of student development and have significantly contributed to the advancement of the program. Awardees are honored for their deep commitment to education, outstanding organizational and coordination abilities, and forward-looking educational vision. Serving as beacons for Chinese students studying both at home and abroad, they guide young learners through cross-cultural academic journeys and steadfastly support their academic and personal growth, thereby driving the educational achievements of the SEP forward.

In her address, Professor MA Shuang shared practical experiences and reflections from her involvement in the SEP. She highlighted that the core of education lies in fostering student growth and continuous improvement. Professor MA also noted that the “Navigator for Holistic Development” award represents not only an honor but also a profound responsibility—one that reminds educators to uphold the trust of students and parents and to shoulder the mission of nurturing future talents. “Like a lighthouse,” she remarked, “we must shine a little brighter and extend a helping hand when students feel lost.”

The conference provided a significant platform for dialogue and collaboration among high-level universities in China and internationally, and it showcased the positive outcomes achieved by Liaoning University in cultivating globally competitive talent.
