AABC Hosts a Series of Homecoming Activities themed “Eternal Youth, Reunion at AABC” to Celebrate the 20th Enrollment Anniversary of the 2006 Intake

On 23 May, AABC successfully hosted a homecoming event at Puhe Campus to mark the 20th enrollment anniversary of its 2006Intake alumni. Themed “Eternal Youth, Reunion at AABC”, the event gathered faculty and staff alongside returning alumni for a warm celebration of cherished memories and rekindled friendships. Yang Zhipeng, Party Secretary of Sunwah International Business School and former counselor of AABC's 2006 Finance cohort, and Qin Yuanyuan, a former faculty member, were specially invited to the event. Ma Shuang, AABC's Party Secretary, and Wang Nan, AABC's Deputy Party Secretary also attended. Wang Lin, He Wei, Song Xiaojun and Guo Xiaojun from the college's Alumni Development Team took part in the gathering. The symposium was presided over by Wang Lin. Joined by representatives from the 2006Intake, all attendees revisited their youthful campus days, reminisced about the profound teacher-student bond, and discussed prospects for future collaborative development.

Professor Ma Shuang, AABC's Party Secretary, delivered remarks on behalf of the college, extending a warm welcome to alumni travelling back from near and far. She looked back fondly on the formative campus years of the 2006Intake, and briefed attendees on the college's latest progress in Sino-foreign cooperative education, talent development and discipline building. She stressed that alumni constitute theCollege's most precious asset and finest business card. AABC will always serve as a warm harbour and reliable backing for its alumni, she added. She also voiced her wish for alumni to pay regular visits to their alma mater and keep offering care and support for theCollege's ongoing development.

The symposium was permeated with warmth and sincere affection. Former faculty members who guided the alumni through their undergraduate years took turns addressing the gathering, reminiscing about precious campus memories, reflecting on the alumni's remarkable growth over the past two decades, voicing pride in their outstanding accomplishments across diverse industries, and offering heartfelt well wishes.

Alumni shared their career paths, latest life milestones and insights into personal development. They recounted funny anecdotes and precious college experiences, conveying deep affection for their alma mater, faculty and former peers. Such sincere exchanges further strengthened the decades-long bond nurtured two decades ago.

Representatives from the 2006Intake presented a commemorative gift to theCollege to express gratitude for the education and support they had received during their studies. All alumni penned their blessings on sticky notes, leaving sincere well-wishes forAABC.

Following the symposium, alumni toured the Liaoning University History Museum, tracing the university's development via archival photos and documents and appreciating the institution's profound heritage and remarkable transformation. Afterwards, they wandered across campus, stopping by familiar landmarks including teaching buildings and the library for group snapshots, preserving these precious 20-year reunion moments on camera.

This homecoming marks a key initiative in the college's ongoing alumni development programme. It has further strengthened emotional ties between the college and its alumni as well as among alumni themselves, carrying forward AABC's nurturing culture rooted in warmth and mutual care. Moving forward, AABC will keep refining its alumni services, building regular communication platforms, pooling alumni expertise and resources and advancing school-enterprise collaborative education. Through practical initiatives, the college will pursue high-quality development and contribute AABC's share to the development of Liaoning University and local socioeconomic progress.
