Paper Abstract: Based on the perspective of peer effects, this study investigates the driving mechanisms behind the embedding of Chinese marine firms in global value chains. After verifying the existence of industry peer effects, the paper analyzes and tests the driving mechanisms from three aspects: information, competition, and learning.
