On 23 October, the Asia-Australia Business College held a talent development event as part of the 2024 Development Initiative on the Independent Knowledge System of Philosophy and Social Sciences with Chinese Characteristics. The event featured a sharing session by Xu Zhenyu, a graduate of the class of 2009.
Under the theme "Dream Chasing in Australia," Xu Zhenyu provided a detailed introduction to his academic experiences at Liaoning University's Asia-Australia Business College and Victoria University during his undergraduate studies. He shared insights from his internship and work experience at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, imparted valuable lessons from his entrepreneurial journey as the founder of a loan brokerage firm in Australia, and discussed the challenges he encountered at different stages of his life along with the solutions he adopted. He encouraged students to face challenges courageously, enhance their learning and practical abilities, broaden their horizons and thinking, and explore future life directions through diverse life experiences. The event concluded with a detailed Q&A session addressing questions from participating students.
As the first session of the second "I Am an Asia-Australian" alumni forum under the college's 2024 Talent Development Series Action Plan for the Independent Knowledge System of Philosophy and Social Sciences with Chinese Characteristics, this seminar guided students toward a clearer direction for their future academic and career planning. It provided valuable insights for those preparing to study abroad, start businesses, or pursue employment opportunities.
