On June 12, the Asia-Australia Business College of Liaoning University held a lecture titled "Research on Foreign Language Vocabulary Teaching from the Perspective of Cognitive Linguistics" at the college's C3 One-Stop Student Community. Ms. Dai Zhengli from our college engaged in exchanges and discussions with faculty and students on the role and inspiration of cognitive linguistics in the reform and development of foreign language vocabulary teaching.
Ms. Dai Zhengli delivered an insightful sharing of her expertise, exploring vocabulary teaching concepts and innovative reforms based on the theoretical foundation of cognitive linguistics. She covered aspects such as the theoretical framework of cognitive linguistics, the characteristics of English vocabulary, the practical application of cognitive linguistics in vocabulary teaching, and the evaluation and feedback on teaching effectiveness. During the experience exchange and discussion session, faculty and students actively participated in lively discussions and exchanges on teaching methodologies and innovative educational concepts.
As the third session of the First International Academic Forum on Language Competence Development in Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education under the college's 2024 Action Plan for Building an Independent Knowledge System of Philosophy and Social Sciences with Chinese Characteristics, this seminar provided fresh perspectives and valuable inspiration for faculty in their scientific research endeavors.
