AABC Hosts First Lecture of the 2024 Talent Development Series: "Growth, Health, Development, and Innovation" for College Students in the New Era

To help students better integrate into their class communities, enhance collective awareness, and improve the unity and cohesion of each class in the college, Liaoning University's Asia-Australia Business College held the first lecture of the "Growth, Health, Development, and Innovation" series for college students in the new era on June 26, 2024, in Room 231 of the Zexing Building. Mr. Zhang Lianyong, the counselor for the class of 2022 at Asia-Australia Business College, delivered a lecture on enhancing the cohesion of class collectives in Sino-foreign cooperative education programs. Key student cadres from each class attended the lecture.

Mr. Zhang offered several suggestions for enhancing the cohesion of class collectives in Sino-foreign cooperative education programs:

First, regularly organize class activities such as cultural and sports competitions, volunteer activities, and team-building events to foster emotional exchange among students.

Second, ensure effective division of labor and cooperation between class cadres and students. When organizing class activities, student cadres should take the lead, allowing students to contribute based on their interests and strengths, ensuring everyone participates joyfully.

Third, establish common goals for the class, including class construction, individual academic achievements, and future development plans, to motivate collective efforts and strengthen unity.

Fourth, regularly showcase class spirit by organizing cultural display activities that highlight the class's unique features, fostering a sense of belonging among students.

Fifth, cultivate a positive class atmosphere and academic ethos, actively creating a harmonious and motivated classroom environment.

Sixth, ensure fairness and transparency in class management, accept supervision from all students, maintain open feedback channels, and ensure students can promptly communicate and resolve any issues with their counselor.

As part of the college's 2024 Talent Development Series under the "Development Year of the Independent Knowledge System of Philosophy and Social Sciences with Chinese Characteristics," this lecture marked the first session of the "Growth, Health, Development, and Innovation" series for college students in the new era. Students expressed that, as class members, they would continuously strengthen their collective awareness, actively participate in various activities, and enhance their spirit of loving and strengthening their school and country.
