The International Business major falls under the Business Administration discipline within the broader category of Management. It is an interdisciplinary field that integrates knowledge from economics, management, international trade, marketing, cross-cultural communication, and other related disciplines.
The International Business major has 21 full-time faculty members. Their research areas mainly include: international trade theory and policy, international banking and finance, international trade practice, strategic trade operations, international finance and investment, international marketing, cross-cultural management, international commercial law, corporate social responsibility of multinational enterprises, digitalization, and innovation management.
Faculty members and researchers of the International Business major not only possess profound academic backgrounds but also have practical international businessexpertise and a global perspective. This enables them toequip students with international market competitiveness. The composition of the teaching staff helps students understand and analyze international business issues from multiple perspectives, laying a solid foundation for their future careers.
In recent years, the faculty team has been approved for several first-class courses in Liaoning Province. Their policy advisory suggestions have been repeatedly approved and adopted by provincial authorities. Each year, many faculty members receive approvals for projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, the Ministry of Education, and provincial-level programs.
The faculty team has published hundreds of papers in Chinese and international journals. The Chinese journals include Economic Issues, Research on Financial and Economic Issues, Economic Management, Management Review, Chinese Journal of Management, Productivity Research; and the international journals are Business Process Management Journal, International Business Review, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, Social Behavior and Personality, International Journal of Organizational Leadership, International Journal of Financial Studies.
