Li Tuo graduated from the Asia-Australia Business College in 2013 with a major in Finance (Finance and Risk Management direction) and served as the Executive Vice President of the College Student Union during his academic tenure.
In July 2013, he joined the Shenyang Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC). His previous roles at ICBC include Customer Service Representative at the Head Office Peony Card Center, Teller at Heping Sub-branch, Corporate Client Manager, Deputy Branch Manager, Deputy Manager of the Corporate Banking Department, and Manager of the Corporate Banking Department. He was selected as a candidate for the ICBC Head Office International Project Reserve Talent Program and has been recognized as an Outstanding Communist Party Member and Advanced Worker by the ICBC Shenyang Branch.
He currently holds the position of Assistant President at the ICBC Shenyang Tiexi Sub-branch.
