Personal Profile
Wang Mang, who graduated with a degree in Accounting, earned a Master's degree in Financial Management from the Australian National University in 2011. During his school years, he not only received school-level scholarships and was honored to join the Communist Party of China under the cultivation of the school's Party organization.
He joined Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, working in the International Business School and the University Office in 2012. From 2017 to 2018, he was seconded to the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters) under China's Ministry of Education, where he managed national and local Chinese language teacher programs and facilitated the “Hundred Schools Project” for Chinese education in the UAE. And the Sino-UAE cooperation agreement drafted under his leadership was signed in the presence of President Xi Jinping and the Crown Prince of the UAE. He now works in the International Education College, overseeing international Chinese language education and Confucius Institute initiatives.
In late 2022, he received a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council for a research visit to Singapore.
