Asia-Australia Business College Holds Joint Management Committee Meeting

On the morning of November 27, the second 2024 meeting of the Joint Management Committee of the Asia-Australia Business College was held in Conference Room 225 of Zexing Building. Attendees included Xie Mingyi, Director of the International Exchange Office; Yan Yong, Director of the Planning and Finance Office; members of the leadership team of the Asia-Australia Business College; Monty Singh, Vice Chancellor of Victoria University; Rob Strathdee, Vice Chancellor of Victoria University; Ranjith Ihalanayake, Dean of the Business School; Caryn Nery, Director of the Cross-Border Education Department; and heads of various departments from the Cooperative Education Division.

During the meeting, both parties exchanged updates on the latest developments of their respective institutions. Director Xie Mingyi highlighted the achievements of Liaoning University in the "Double First-Class" initiative in 2024, as well as progress in international influence, scientific research, social services, and international exchanges. Vice Chancellor Monty Singh of Victoria University discussed changes in Australia's international education policies and their impacts, shared the outstanding achievements of Victoria University in teaching quality and student satisfaction, and provided an update on personnel changes within the Joint Management Committee of the Asia-Australia Business College. Dean Zhao Deqi reported on the development of the Asia-Australia Business College in 2024 and elaborated on the college's innovation and development plans for 2025.

The management teams of Victoria University and the Asia-Australia Business College of Liaoning University summarized the teaching activities of 2024 and exchanged views on the strategic development priorities for the college in 2025. Both sides expressed their commitment to broadening the scope of cooperation and further deepening collaborative efforts.
