On October 26, 2023, the Asia-Australia Business College held a teaching seminar titled "Student Evaluation and Performance" for Chinese and foreign faculty in Conference Room 231 of the college.
Victoria University teachers Anna Gontmakher and Malay Joshi shared the latest teaching model, "Block Teaching," as well as the design of course evaluation methods and specific grading criteria in Victoria University's curriculum system.
During the exchange on block teaching, both sides engaged in thorough discussions on its design, implementation methods, teaching processes, and outcomes. The discussion on evaluation methods further aligned the standards for student assessment and enhanced mutual understanding of the Chinese and foreign education systems.
This teaching seminar marked the first offline exchange between the two parties since the pandemic. As the first session of the Faculty International Exchange Series under the 2023 Special Project for "Faculty Team Building" as part of the Initiative to Build an Independent Knowledge System of Philosophy and Social Sciences with Chinese Characteristics, the event fostered an lively atmosphere where Chinese and foreign teachers actively shared their teaching experiences. Such exchanges play a vital role in enhancing the quality of cooperative education.
